The Project
This 7-year-long Book Project includes many pages of creative process images detailing how each piece was made. Images of these Custom Awards are paired with Photos and Biographies of these Amazing Burners who built Black Rock City for us all to enjoy.
About the Author – Ty ECKLEY
Mr. Eckley received his BFA in Sculpture at the University of Houston in 1974. The next 5 decades became all about making things: Production Manager for a Television Station, Prototype Builder for a Medical and Sports Product company, started and operated a Construction company, a Commercial Real Estate Development company, and a Property Management company.
During this time, he produced over 100 Public Events. He also designed, fabricated, transported and operated Art Projects in Burning Man’s Black Rock City for 26 years in a row…and counting.
Mr. Eckley is currently in the Feature Film and Television Series Production business.
